Guns and Nawlins
When a New Orleans resident was interviewed, with reference to the lawlessness and violence in New Oleans recently:
Tilghman said he had been appalled by the violence in New Orleans and was concerned that some of it might spill over into his community with the arrival of more survivors. "I'm totally against guns, but I bought one this week," he said.
Yeah, right...totally against guns. They do have their purpose...!
Health Class
Health Class
Good morning, class. For Health Class this semester, we will be studying a “Lemon Cleanse”, also know as “The Lemonade Diet”. It was developed by a guy named Stanley Burroughs, and basically you drink lemonade and don’t eat any food. Actually, I know a few people who have done this and they love the benefits that come from it.
Monday is the first official day that I start on this diet. I drank a “laxative tea” this evening called “Smooth Moves” (ha, ha) which is supposed to jump start everything. I will post tomorrow what has become of it…anyone else out there done this?
